Dynamic Insights

As you talk, keywords, questions, and objections from your transcript will appear on the Live Insights widget. These are dynamic and appear as the conversation continues. Click any of these cards to get help.

Ask Anything

Chat interface to ask anything about your screen, audio, or chat more specifically than CMD Enter.

Show Transcript

Clicking show transcript in the upper right hand corner of the Live Insights card during an active meeting shows you the live transcript. (You can also access the full transcript after a call ends in the dashboard > My Activity > Select meeting > Sidebar: Transcript.)

Session Key Binds

Below are the default keybinds. You can also edit your keybinds or disable the short cuts entirely by going to your Settings > Selecting a Shortcut > Edit Icon.

Default Shortcuts

  • CMD Enter / CTRL Enter: Ask AI anything about your screen, audio, or chat
  • CMD R / CTRL R: Clear session context
  • CMD Left, CMD Right / CTRL Left, CTRL Right: Move the Cluely left and right on your screen
  • CMD + \ (macOS) or CTRL + \ (Windows): Hides and shows the command bar widget

Auto-focus (Windows only)

On Windows, to the left of the Smart pill is an Auto-focus checkbox. Normal behavior on Windows is that typing in the Cluely query area takes window focus.

Auto-focus Options

Auto-focus checked: When you open the query area (Ctrl + Enter), the typing cursor appears there immediately and Windows shifts focus to Cluely. Auto-focus unchecked: Ctrl + Enter opens the query area without stealing focus. From there, either:
  • press Ctrl + Enter again to submit a screen-only query, or
  • press Tab to place the cursor in the text box and type
Behavior differs from macOS due to OS-level focus rules.

  • If Listen is active, Cluely includes transcript context with your request

  • Use screen-only queries for quick context-aware assistance
  • Type specific questions for detailed help
  • Clear context regularly to maintain optimal performance
  • Use the live transcript feature for real-time conversation tracking
The Live Insights widget provides contextual help based on your ongoing conversation. The more context Cluely has, the more relevant and helpful the insights become.
