Settings Overview

At the top you’ll see keyboard shortcuts, plus:
  • Learn how to use Cluely — launches an interactive tutorial
  • Invisibility — controls whether Cluely is visible/invisible to screen share, and whether it appears in your OS task bar
  • Output language — language Cluely uses for responses, summaries, and actionable items
  • Meeting audio language — language spoken in your meetings (used for Listen-mode transcription)
  • Change display — choose which monitor Cluely appears on (you can also drag the command bar to another monitor)
  • Disable auto launch — prevents Cluely from starting on login
  • App version — shows your current version; if outdated, an Update and restart option appears
  • Logout and Quit Cluely buttons at the bottom

Dashboard Drop Down

Click the Home icon (to the right of Hide) to open the in-app Dashboard. From here you can see:
  • Previous meeting summaries & insights
  • Modes (including Knowledge Base and Personalize/previous personalize section as listed)
  • Billing Center
  • Settings
In the top-right avatar menu you’ll find: Customize Cluely, Help Center, Billing, Settings, and Logout.

Customize Cluely

Customize Cluely’s knowledge with Customize Cluely.
  1. Hover over your profile icon > Customize Cluely
  2. Add Files or edit the System Prompt directly

Help Center

Opens the embedded customer support bot in the bottom-right of the Home screen.

Billing

Opens the Billing page:
  • If you’re on Free, you can upgrade to Pro
  • To cancel, click Change plan in the Free plan section and follow the steps

Keyboard Shortcuts

Default Shortcuts

  • CMD Enter / CTRL Enter: Ask AI anything about your screen, audio, or chat
  • CMD R / CTRL R: Clear session context
  • CMD Left, CMD Right / CTRL Left, CTRL Right: Move the Cluely left and right on your screen
  • CMD + \ (macOS) or CTRL + \ (Windows): Hides and shows the command bar widget

Customizing Shortcuts

You can edit your keybinds or disable the shortcuts entirely by going to your Settings > Selecting a Shortcut > Edit Icon.

Language Settings

Output Language

Choose the language Cluely uses for:
  • AI responses
  • Meeting summaries
  • Actionable items
  • General interface text

Meeting Audio Language

Set the language spoken in your meetings for:
  • Listen-mode transcription accuracy
  • Context understanding
  • Real-time translation features

Display Settings

Monitor Selection

  • Change display — choose which monitor Cluely appears on
  • Drag and drop — you can also drag the command bar to another monitor manually

Auto Launch

  • Disable auto launch — prevents Cluely from starting on login
  • Useful for users who want manual control over when Cluely starts

Invisibility Settings

Control whether Cluely is visible/invisible to:
  • Screen sharing software
  • OS task bar
  • System notifications
Customize your keyboard shortcuts to match your workflow. You can disable any shortcut you don’t use to avoid accidental triggers.
Changing the meeting audio language will affect transcription accuracy. Make sure to set this to match the primary language used in your meetings.
